Ok the title is the good news. Axciton has added a scroing feature that "I think" uses OSS-3. I really don't know because when you click on it, it only tells you that the test is SR or NSR., along with a number????Now for the bad news.
(1) You can't edit the data for artifacts
(2) You can select whether the test is a single issue, multi-facet or other test type.
(3) You can't adjust the cut offs; see the numbers or even determine if artifact distribution is suspect.
In other words OSS-3, it ain't!
My 2007 Ford Sport Track tells me if one of my tires is under recommended pressure. That's a great innovation...except it doesn't tell you which tire! I always wondered why a guy smart enough to design something that could tell when one of your tires was low decided to stop there and go to lunch without spending the extra little time it would have taken to tell me which damn tire.
My wife's 2010 Chrysler Town and Country Limited has the same pressure system except it tells you the actual pressure of each tire and shows you the one with the low presure. now that guy skipped lunch and did it right!
How much more trouble would it have been to just have Axciton software input the numeric information into the regular OSS3 spreadsheet and display the results page, complete with all the information on the screen? The Extract program which was written by the PolyScore folks for the government to extract Axciton data (so I assume it is in the public domain) will allow one to extract the numeric information from Axciton charts and will allow the user to remove components and/or questions prior to putting the information into the OSS3 spreadsheet.
